RULES COVERING THE FRSC SHOW SERIES
1. All horses must be kept under control or they will be disqualified and/or asked to leave the grounds.
2. We do not recommend bats, whips or spurs, but they can be used within reason. Excessive or extreme cruelty to a horse, by use of spurs, bats, whips or severe bits, will disqualify a participant.
3. Excessive drinking, swearing, bad conduct or poor sportsmanship, such as hitting a horse either in the show ring or on the grounds, will be grounds to ask the participant to leave the show and may lead to expulsion from the club.
4. Shows will begin promptly and all horses must be ready to enter the ring when called, or they will forfeit their entry fees.
5. Points are kept on one (1) horse and one (1) rider combination.
6. Equal awards may be given in case of a tie, but multiple ties may be broken at the Club’s discretion.
7. Decision of the judge is final.
8. Ponies are 56" and under, to be measured at the pony’s first show by a board member.
9. Once the class list and club rules have been approved, they will not be changed until the following show season.
10. It is the responsibility of each rider to make sure his/her entry card is properly filled out. If a mistake is made, it must be corrected the day of the show.
11. Anyone caught going over the obstacles will be dismissed from the Trail Class.
12. High points are figured on horse and rider combination. ALL FOUR SHOWS COUNT TOWARD END OF THE YEAR HIGH POINT FOR FRSC MEMBERS.
13. Proof of age of horse must be presented to ride in 5 & Under Pleasure Class at the first show in which the horse is shown.
14. For Year End Awards, if the High Point or Reserve recipient does not meet the membership requirements, the next person will move up if they met the membership requirements.
15. Auditing allowed at Judge's discretion only. You pay the class entry fee, wear no number, have proper attire and tack, and must be a class horse and rider would normally enter.
