Membership Application: You may join at any time, including at an FRSC show, by completing a membership application and paying the necessary fees. The application and fees may be mailed as directed on the form, or presented at the entry booth which would then allow you to enter classes. The membership is from January 1 to December 31st and will not be pro-rated. Membership is not necessary to show at the FRSC shows series. However, there are additional fee/charges to show as a non-member.
Work Hours: Every membership is required to volunteer working hours for our shows. A single membership must work for at least two (2) hours during the show series. A family membership must work four (4) hours at the shows series. You may have someone in your family work for you as long as they sign in as working for your membership. Previous to the first show, all members must sign up to work on the membership form. Click here for work hours sign up. Without working your allotted number of hours, you are not eligible to receive any high point awards. At the shows, you MUST SIGN IN AND OUT for the actual hours worked in the HOURS WORKED LOG BOOK, OR YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE CREDIT FOR THOSE HOURS.
Newsletter: All current members will receive a club newsletter called the “Fox Tales” via e-mail or mail free of charge.
Meetings: There are General Member meeting and Board Meetings. The date, time and place of these meetings are published in the monthly newsletter and on the Web site. All members are strongly encouraged to attend the meetings to participate in any discussions or proposals and be part of any voting that takes place. Any members is welcome to attend the Board meetings.
Back Numbers: At the General member meeting held just before the first show, each member may sign up for a back number. You will be given that number and you are required to keep that same number for the entire FRSC show series. If you are unable to attend this meeting, you may sign up and receive your back number at the first show, but the first show is always hectic.
Stalls: Stalls must be reserved in the name of the responsible party for payment. Stall fees are paid at the entry booth at West 20 the day of the show. STALLS ARE LIMITED PLEASE CALL WEST 20 AT 262-642-4272 DURING BUSINESS HOURS TO RESERVE YOUR STALLS IN ADVANCE OF THE SHOW DATE YOU ARE PLANNING TO SHOW. Because of limited stall availability, please no tack stalls. Stalls are reserved on a first come first served basis. If you can’t make it please call to cancel.
Show Points: Our club holds a series of four shows per season. Each horse rider combination may acquire points when placed in most classes entered. ALL FOUR SHOWS COUNT TOWARD HIGHPOINT. The horse/rider combination who acquires the most points (and has met all membership obligations) in the same eligible class entered at each show is awarded a High Point Awards at the Year End Awards Party. A Reserve High Point awards is also given for the eligible classes.
Coggins: EACH HORSE MUST HAVE A CURRENT YEAR NEGATIVE COGGINS TEST RESULT (PLEASE BRING YOUR ORIGINAL PLUS A COPY TO LEAVE WITH US FOR OUR FILES FOR EACH SHOW.)
